Privacy policy

Atelier Molly is a small poster shop run by Molly in Stockholm. This page says what we learn about you when you visit or buy, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We are the data controller for everything described here.
What we collect, and why
- When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and what you bought. We need these to have the poster printed and delivered, to send you a receipt and tracking, and to answer you if something goes wrong. The legal basis is the contract between us.
- When you pay: payment is handled by Stripe. Your card or Swish details go to Stripe, not to us; we see only that the payment went through, the amount and the last digits of a card.
- When you write to us: your email and what you write, so we can answer.
- When you browse: we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you. Your cart is kept in your own browser (local storage) and never reaches us until you check out.
There are no customer accounts, no newsletter, and no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who else sees it
- Stripe processes payments, including card, Swish, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Klarna, if you choose it, receives what it needs to assess and run the payment under its own privacy notice.
- Gelato prints and ships your order, and receives your name, delivery address, email and phone number for that purpose. It may pass the parcel to a carrier such as PostNord, DHL or UPS.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and our email.
Some of these companies are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the EEA, it is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order details are kept for as long as Swedish bookkeeping law requires, currently seven years. Emails are kept while the conversation is useful and deleted after that.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted where we are not required to keep it, or receive it in a portable form. You may also object to how we use it. Write to [email protected] and we answer within a month. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
